RPF, GRP Arrest Robbery Gang, Booty Recovered

Hyderabad: In a joint operation, the sleuths of Kacheguda Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested two thieves involved in committing thefts in moving trains and recovered 74.12 grams of gold ornaments and nine mobile phones, all worth Rs.6 lakh from their possession on Wednesday.
The accused, who were identified as Azad Khan, a resident of Borabanda and a native of Haryana and Pathan Waseem of Saroornagar and a native of Nagpur, are wanted in six theft cases by the Kacheguda railway police. "Azad and Phatan migrated to Hyderabad and took up different jobs and to meet their financial needs they hatched a plan to commit thefts in trains," the police said.
