CEO changed in TN

Chennai: The Election Commission of India appointed MSME Secretary Archana Patnaik as the Chief Electoral Officer for Tamil Nadu in the place of Satyabrata Sahoo.
An IAS officer belonging to the 2002 batch, Archana Patnaik hails from the State of Odisha, to which her predecessor Sahoo, too, belonged.
Patnaik had served as the district collector of Coimbatore.
