Telangana: Blast Victims' Kin Get Relief

Hyderabad: Health minister Damodar C. Rajanarasimha, extended support to the families of five workers who died in an explosion at the SB Organics Ltd plant at Chandapur of Sangareddy district in April.

In collaboration with the company management, Rajanarasimha distributed a compensation cheque of Rs.41 lakh to each worker's family. Company’s managing director P.H. Subbarao, handed over the cheques, including fixed deposits for minors.

The minister handed over Rs.1 lakh to each family for the last rites of the deceased workers and assured those injured of free medical treatment.
