2 hurt as bike rams into iron bar on road

Hyderabad: Two suffered injuries after their bike hit an iron pole put up for obstructing commuters on the under construction flyover at Golnaka in Amberpet

The two friends were on their way to meet their friends in ECIL. Mohammed Imamuddin of ECIL left MGBS for ECIL in the early hours of Tuesday along with his friend Vishwajit who was riding pillion.

After Imamuddin turned on the Google Maps on his mobile, he handed over his phone to Vishwajit. Both friends, due to lack of street lights, got confused and headed towards the under constructed flyover and rammed into an iron pole kept for obstruction, Kachiguda police said.

Locals said the construction of the flyover, which has been going on for a long time in Amberpet, is causing serious problems for commuters.

A case of negligence and endangering human live was registered against the contractor.
