5 Thieves Held in Nalgonda, Rs. 6.38 Lakh Goods Seized

Nalgonda: Based on a clue provided by an autorickshaw driver, Kodad Rural police arrested five persons at Shanthinagar in Ananthagiri mandal for theft and seized Rs.6.38 lakh worth property, including gold and silver ornaments and an SUV, from their possession.

The arrested were identified as Vemavarapu Nagaraju, Ramavath Mathru, Vemavarapu Pulla Rao, K. Bikshalu and Chikka Anjaneyulu. P. Venkateshwarlu is absconding. They had looted the house of Thammishetti Venkataiah at Vellatoor in Mellacheruvu mandal on September 19. The autorickshaw driver had told the police that he noticed an SUV with Delhi registration plates.
