60-Year-Old Protester Attempts Suicide at Nizamabad Police Commissionerate

Nizamabad: A 60-year-old woman tried to die by suicide at the Nizamabad police commissionerate on Tuesday, to protest an unresolved land encroachment case. The victim, Narsavva of Dasnagar in Makloor Mandal, fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. Sources said the Makloor police had asked encroachers of Narsavva’s land to stop construction but the work continued.
