7 persons stranded in Munneru stream in Khammam

Khammam: Seven persons stranded in Munneru flood water at Prakash Nagar Barrage in Khammam.

As Munneru stream takes full swing and its flood water submerged Rajiv Gruhakalpa colony, Venkateshwara Nagar, Ganesh Nagar and Danawaigudem.

Seven members of a family reached the top of their home in Venkateshwara colony when their house was surrounded by flood water. They were looking for the help.

As the weather condition was not allowing the helicopters to take off, the officials were helpless to rescue them.

The officials told that the rescue of stranded persons would be taken when weather condition turns favourable.
