Adilabad:Adivasis, under the banner of Thudum Debba, gathered on Friday to protest against Union home minister Amit Shah for insulting Dr B.R. Ambedkar. They demanded Shah’s resignation and retraction of his statements, accusing him of pushing a hidden agenda against the Indian Constitution. Women also took part in the protest held at Komaram Bheem Colony in Mavala mandal, Adilabad, where Thudum Debba state co-convener Godam Ganesh addressed the crowd.

In Indravelli, members of the Ambedkar Memorial Association and Bheem Army also staged a demonstration, asserting that Shah’s comments revealed the BJP’s adherence to RSS ideology. Association president Waghmare Kamraj spoke at the event, urging people to recognize the threat these views posed to India’s constitutional value.
