Allocate Funds for Incomplete Railway Projects: Bandi Sanjay

KARIMNAGAR: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday urged railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to allocate funds for completion of pending railway projects in Karimnagar.

Sanjay, during a meeting, brought to Vaishnaw’s notice that the 61.8-km, Rs 1,415-crore railway line between Hasanparthy and Karimnagar. He said the final location survey of the railway line and the detailed project report had been submitted.

Sanjay also requested the railway minister for upgradation of Uppal station in Kamalapur mandal into a model station to allow introduction of new services. Even though it was mentioned in the railway app, the Dakshin Express was not halting at the station.
