Awareness Drive on Fire Safety Held in Telangana

 Hyderabad: All fire stations in 33 districts of Telangana state have started conducting fire safety awareness drills on a daily basis and in total 884 awareness programmes have been conducted since seven days, director general of the Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services (TGDRFS) Y. Nagi Reddy said.

To educate the general public on preventing fire incidents, the firefighters conducted mock drills throughout the state under the instructions and guidance of Nagi Reddy.

This practice will educate more people about fire safety precautions and the message will reach to the society. It is an appeal to the general public to call 101 in case of any fire emergency or any disaster, Nagi Reddy stated in a press release on Wednesday.
