Hyderabad:Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka reaffirmed the Congress government's commitment to provide corporate-level education to underprivileged students through its flagship initiatives, Integrated Residential Schools and Skill University. During a review meeting at the Secretariat, he emphasised that these projects aim to uplift marginalised communities, including Dalits and tribals, by offering high-quality education.

"Education is the foundation of societal progress, and it is the most significant investment in the future of both the state and the country," Bhatti said.

The government plans to establish an integrated residential school in every Assembly constituency, with land acquisition underway. Bhatti stressed that improving education standards is key to enhancing the lives of disadvantaged students.

Education department principal secretary Burra Venkatesham, SC Gurukuls secretary Alugu Varshini, Tribal welfare commissioner Dr Sharath were present at the meeting, which focused on accelerating the construction and operationalisation of these educational institutions.
