Bhatti Invites US Mining Firms to TG
Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has invited the US companies to become part of the development of Telangana and invest in the proposed Fourth City in Mucherla. He participated in the MINExpo in Las Vegas in the US. MINExpo is an international mining exhibition that happens once in four years. The event showcases the latest mining innovations, technologies, and machinery and provides opportunities to network.
Addressing a gathering of representatives of the US companies, Bhatti said, “Hyderabad is the destination for foreign investments and companies should participate in the mineral development of the state. Machinery useful in mineral excavation could be supplied. We are looking for help to enable the government-owned Singareni Collieries to explore critical minerals.”
This year, MINExpo has around 1,900 machinery manufacturing companies displaying their products and services. They include huge equipment for mining, vehicles to transport minerals, defence services and other related machinery. More than 44,000 representatives from 121 countries are participating in the event.
The deputy CM held meetings with many manufacturers. State energy secretary Ronald Ross, Singareni CMD N. Balaram and special secretary Krishna Bhaskar also participated in the event.
