BJP Biggest Party in World: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: Union minister and BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy wondered how permissions were given by the government earlier and why the structures are being demolished by HYDRAA now. He charged that builders were being harassed in the state.

Addressing the cadre as part of the party membership drive in Hyderabad, he said, “BJP has become the world’s largest political party surging past the Chinese Communist Party and this is a matter of great pride for 140 crore Indians. The membership exercise will start in October and we are targeting farmers, women and youth.”

Commenting on the prospects of BRS, he felt the party wouldn’t be able to resurrect again in the state as the party leaders were more interested in enriching themselves personally. He also said the Congress gave 400 promises and six guarantees but is not implementing them. While earlier elected MLAs headed from Gandhi Bhavan to Telangana Bhavan, the reverse is happening now, both parties are the same, he commented.

Kishan Reddy said the BJP will contest the local body polls, take up people’s problems and fight on behalf of them. “Dues of fees reimbursement, Aarogyasri and student scholarships are not being paid because of the economic crisis created and both the parties, which are only interested in blaming the Centre. The Congress should come clean on the farm loan waiver,” he said.

Rejecting any possibility of the merger of BRS with BJP, the minister said, “KTR and CM Revanth Reddy are not their spokespersons and cannot speak for the party.” He received a representation from the Telangana Junior Doctors seeking protection for them and justice in the Kolkata medico death issue.
