Karimnagar: Kothagudem MLA and CPI state secretary Kunamneni Sambashiva Rao said that both the BJP and BRS have a covert understanding, urging the public not to fall prey to these parties' attempts to provoke and divert attention through "diversion politics."

The MLA, accompanied by CPI national executive member Chada Venkat Reddy and district secretary Marri Venkata Swamy, addressed a press conference at Baddam Yellareddy Bhavan in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

Sambashiva Rao alleged that the BJP and BRS are actively working to destabilise the Congress government and remove it from power. He claimed that these parties are conspiring to create law and order issues in the state. Additionally, he noted that the Congress government is facing budget constraints due to debts incurred by the previous BRS administration.

He emphasised that the government should reassure the poor that the HYDRAA scheme, recently introduced, will act justly and take strict action against land grabbers.

The Congress government, he added, should waive crop loans in full without conditions and provide clarity on the implementation of welfare schemes and Rythu Bharosa.

He concluded by highlighting the CPI's long-standing legacy, noting that the party, which is approaching its 100th anniversary, will celebrate its centenary with a grand event on December 26.
