BJP MP Arvind thanked Rahul Gandhi for extending heartfelt condolences
Hyderabad: BJP Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Friday thanked Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi for extending condolences over the death of his father and former PCC president Dharmapuri Srinivas due to health problems a few days ago.
In a tweet addressed to Rahul Gandhi, Arvind said, “On behalf of my mother and family, I thank you for your thoughtful condolences and honoring words for my father.” In a message addressed to Arvind, Rahul Gandhi said, “l am deeply saddened by the demise of your father Dharmapuri Srinivas Garu. We have lost a tall leader who left an indelible mark on politics in united Andhra. His remarkable contribution to the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be remembered.”
Rahul Gandhi further stated Srinivas dedicated his life to public service. “Dharmapuri Srinivas leadership and organizational skills helped the Congress p win a resounding mandate. But most importantly, his humility won him the love and respect of people across party lines. His legacy will continue to inspire us,” he said.
“I can imagine your anguish and sorrow at losing him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time,” he said.
Meanwhile, Arvind met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday and invited him for the condolence meeting organized on July 7 following the demise of his father Dharmapuri Srinivas.
