BJP questions lack of investigation into Dharani scandal

Hyderabad: BJP floor leader A. Maheshwar Reddy has questioned why the state government has not initiated a probe into the alleged Dharani scandal.
He pointed out that the government claims there is a Rs 1 lakh crore scandal linked to the Dharani portal.
Reddy questioned why the Congress government remains silent on this issue. Despite a year passing, he noted, there has been no action taken regarding the Dharani scandal.
He reminded that the Congress party had promised to uncover the scam associated with the Dharani portal.
Reddy further inquired why the state government is reluctant to hand over the case to the CBI for investigation.
