Speaking at the Hanamkonda BRS office, Rama Rao asked how the people could trust the Congress to support the Backward Classes (BC) community when it had not established a separate ministry for BC affairs at the Central level, despite being in power for 60 years.

Hyderabad: BRS senior leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao on Sunday attacked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on his plans to celebrate one year of the Congress government, and his statement in Maharashtra with regard to the Six Guarantees.

Harish Rao accused Revanth Reddy of making false claims in Maharashtra and asked if the government had given two lakh jobs, Rythu Bharosa and bonus for paddy as promised. He said the government had not given Rs.2,500 per month to poor families, and now owed each of them Rs.27,500. He said only half the promised Rs.31,000 crore crop loans was waived.

Harish Rao accused the CM of sending “money bags” to Maharashtra.

Rama Rao, BRS working president, in a statement on his X handle said, “Is the government celebrating the destruction it has brought onto Telangana? This government has only its corruption and deception of people to celebrate.” He also claimed that none of the Congress’ poll promises had been kept.

Later, speaking at the Hanamkonda BRS office, Rama Rao asked how the people could trust the Congress to support the Backward Classes (BC) community when it had not established a separate ministry for BC affairs at the Central level, despite being in power for 60 years.
