BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy booked for obstructing police official's duty

Hyderabad: Raidurg police filed a case against BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy on Thursday for obstructing police officer from performing their duties. Based on a complaint made by Cyberabad Additional DCP Ravichandan, the case was registered against Padi Kaushik Reddy under sections 132 and 351(3) of the BNS Act.

Tension erupted at Kaushik Reddy's residence when followers of MLA Arekapudi Gandhi attacked his house on Thursday. An altercation ensued between the MLA and the complainant police officer when BRS MLAs and party leaders went to the commissionerate to file a complaint against Arekapudi Gandhi for the attack on Kaushik Reddy’s residence.
