BRS Municipal Councillors Join Congress

Nizamabad: Two BRS municipal councillors resigned from their party and joined the Congress on Sunday. Ch. Gangadhar, the sixth ward councillor, and Dharavath Lingaiah Naik, the second ward councillor of Bheemgal town, are the latest members to switch allegiance.

Additionally, Primary Agriculture Cooperative society director Dubbaka Dasha Goud, former sarpanch Gangaram, Sarva Samaj president Savya Ashok, and co-option members also joined the ruling Congress. With these resignations, the number of Congress municipal councillors in Bheemgal municipality reached three out of 16. Currently, there are 13 BRS and three Congress councillors in the municipality.
