Car Catches Fire in Nalgonda; Driver Injured

 Nalgonda: A person was seriously injured when a car driven by him caught fire at Kothagudem of Madgulapally mandal in the district on Friday. The identity of the victim was not known as he remained unconscious.

According to police, the car may have caught fire due to a short circuit. Timely response by the locals saved the life of the driver as they brought him out of the car by breaking its glasses. He received burns on his face and hands. The car was completely torched.

The victim was shifted to Government General Hospital at Nalgonda by an ambulance for treatment. Madgulapally police filed a case and were making efforts to establish the identity of the victim.
