Clinic seized in Khammam for violating medical rules

During the raid, DM&HO found that the RMP extended in-patient treatment to patients with six beds in his clinic in violation of rules. She also checked a medical shop located beside the clinic and warned its owners that stringent action would be taken if medicines are sold to anyone without prescription. She inspected the RJR herbal clinic and cautioned its management not to extend allopathic treatment to patients.

She also examined the operation theatre and medical shop in Mayuri Hospital and told the management that she has received complaints against them. She asked the management to extend treatment to people on humanitarian grounds and not see the medical profession as a business.
