Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed ministers and Congress MLAs from the undivided districts of Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda to intensify the party's campaigning in the final three days leading up to the bypoll for the Legislative Council graduate constituency scheduled for May 27.

Following his return from Tirupati, Revanth Reddy convened an online meeting with ministers and party MLAs on Wednesday, joined by Congress MLC candidate Chintakayala Naveen, also known as Teenmar Mallanna.

During the meeting, the CM assessed the election and campaign strategies with ministers and MLAs, highlighting Congress's strong presence in the three districts, boasting seven ministers and 31 MLAs. He pointed out that the Opposition parties, BRS and BJP, were nowhere close to matching Congress's standing.

Revanth Reddy urged participants to mobilise party workers and local leaders, emphasising effective micro-level booth management to ensure a higher voter turnout on polling day. He stressed the importance of reaching out to the 4.6 lakh graduate voters, outlining the achievements of the Congress government in addressing youth unemployment within its first 100 days in power and detailing future plans for job creation in both government and private sectors over the next four and a half years.

Revanth Reddy instructed MLAs to visit every polling booth in their respective constituencies, with a focus on increasing voter turnout.
