Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced a cash reward of Rs 1 crore for Deepthi Jeevanji, the state athlete who won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. In addition to the monetary reward, Deepthi will be offered a Group-2 government job and a 500-yard house site in Warangal. The CM also awarded Rs 10 lakh to her coach in recognition of his contribution to her success.

CM Reddy directed officials to ensure the prompt implementation of these rewards and emphasized the need to provide coaching support and other incentives to all Paralympic participants. The announcement was well-received by prominent figures, including SAT Chairman Shivsena Reddy, MP Balram Naik, and MLA KR Nagaraju, who expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
