Collector Venkatesh Dhotre Suspends Hostel Warden for Death of DEd Student

 Adilabad: Asifabad Collector Venkatesh Dhotre on Saturday suspended Nikhath Tarannum, warden of the BC Post-Matric Hostel, citing negligence in her duties and failure to ensure the health of students under her care.

The action follows the death of Thorram Venkatalaxmi, a second-year DEd student at a private college in Asifabad, who was residing in the hostel. Venkatalaxmi passed away due to ill health on December 20.
