Congress councillor elected in Yellareddy

NIZAMABAD: Congress councillor Padma Srinivas was elected Yellareddy municipal chairman on Thursday after a no-confidence motion ousted her predecessor Satyanarayana earlier in the day. Yellareddy revenue divisional officer and election officer Manne Prabhakar oversaw the election process. Yellareddy MLA Madanmohan Rao participated as ex-officio member.
