Congress, Left parties’ student wings organize protest rally on NEET fiasco in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Students affiliated to Congress and Left parties took out a protest rally from Himayathnagar junction to Dr. BR Ambedkar statue on Upper Tank Bund demanding that the Central government initiate stern action against those responsible for NEET fiasco.
Holding flags and placards, the students demanded that the Centre must render justice to the students affected by the fiasco. They also demanded the Central government order a probe into it by a sitting Supreme Court judge.
Demanding that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA leaders must respond on the NEET issue, the students asked the Central government to cancel the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is an autonomous agency under the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of India to conduct entrance examination admissions and recruitment.
The NTA played with the lives of lakhs of innocent students by failing to conduct NEET properly. The students were facing problems because of the NEET fiasco.
Students affiliated to All India Students' Federation (AISF), Students Federation of India (SFI), National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU), Vidhyarthi Jana Samithi, AAP Students Wing, All India Youth Federation (AIYF) and Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) took part in the rally in large numbers.
