WARANGAL: The Congress government is taking all necessary measures to strengthen the government education system, as part of which it has allocated funds for the development of government schools and colleges, said Parkala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy. The MLA paid a sudden visit to the Government Polytechnic College on Thursday and inspected the records, student attendance registers and classrooms here in Parkala town in Hanamkonda district.

Later, he enquired the college management about the basic facilities being provided to the students and the computer labs in the college. After collecting information from the management, the MLA assured that he would take the issues of the college to the notice of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for sanctioning funds for the development of infrastructure and basic facilities in the college. He suggested the college staff maintain educational standards and keep the college premises and surroundings clean and hygienic, along with focusing on avenue plantation.

“The Congress government is striving to provide technical education to the students of poor backgrounds by giving priority to the government education sector,” Prakash Reddy said.
