Corteva-Akshaya Patra Gift Nine Vehicles to PM Poshan Abhiyan

Hyderabad: In order to ensure appropriate welfare of children, especially by providing better nutrition and education, Corteva Agriscience and The Akshaya Patra Foundation have come together as an implementing partner of PM Poshan program. Towards this, they have donated nine delivery vehicles to take forward the PM Poshan Abhiyan (earlier known as the mid-day meal scheme) in Narsingi and Nawabpet.

The vehicles will ensure speedier delivery of 18,000 nutritious meals in 90 schools across regions every day.

This initiative builds on Corteva Agriscience's impactful contribution, which, last year, supported 12,000 beneficiaries in Nawabpet and Hyderabad.

The nine vehicles were flagged off here on Wednesday in the presence of the senior country head and APAC leadership from Corteva Agriscience and a senior representative of the foundation Yagneshwara Dasa.

Meanwhile, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, trustee and regional president of the foundation, Hyderabad, said, "We are grateful to Corteva Agriscience, which continues to support our avowed mission of feeding the future of India. These vehicles are not just a donation but a symbol of hope. They will allow children to enjoy hot and nutritious meals every school day. It is through such sustained collaborations that we can leave a lasting impact on the young learners."
