Hyderabad: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Cotton Godown

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out within the Medchal police station limits engulfing the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) godown in Pudur village, where cotton was stored. Due to the flammable nature of the cotton, the fire spread rapidly, causing thick smoke to blanket the surrounding area.

Fire department personnel rushed to the scene and are working to control the blaze. The intensity of the fire led to the collapse of the godown. Workers inside noticed the fire in time and managed to escape, preventing any loss of life.
Officials estimate the damage to be worth crores of rupees.
