Counter Opposition’s criticism on household survey: TPCC chief
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B Mahesh Kumar Goud here on Monday called upon the cadre to make the ongoing integrated household survey a grand success till its completion on November 26.
He asked the MLAs, senior leaders and the cadre to counter the conspiracy of the Opposition parties on the survey and educate people about its significance. As many as 85,000 enumerators are taking part in the survey being conducted for the first time in the country, across Telangana.
In a message to the cadre, he said he would be available from the connect centre from the party office to clarify any doubts on the survey. He said the decision to conduct a survey that started from November 6 was aimed at doing good work to the people.
Advising the cadre to take part in the survey on a large scale at the village level along with enumerators, Goud said he would be in contact with the party followers from the connect centre and call them over phone to not only clarify doubts, if any, but also explain them about the importance of the survey.
“It is the responsibility of the cadre to visit every house with enumerators and explain to the residents about the survey. This would bring a good name to the party and the Congress government in the State,” he said.
At the same time, the party leaders should explain the message given by the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi during his visit to the city ahead of commencement of the survey to the people.
