Bhadradri-Kothagudem: CPI(M) state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Friday criticised Union home minister Amit Shah for allegedly insulting Dr B.R. Ambedkar during a Parliamentary address. Speaking at the third general body meeting of the Bhadradri-Kothagudem CPM unit in Yellandu, Veerabhadram demanded Shah's removal from the Union Cabinet, citing a lack of moral authority to hold office.

He alleged a conspiracy by the BJP to replace the Indian Constitution with the Manu Dharma Shastram and to transform India into a Hindu state. Veerabhadram also opposed the "One Nation, One Election" proposal, warning that it could dilute the democratic system and threaten the existence of regional parties.
