Dattatreya: Kandakurthi Triveni Sangam to be developed as tourist centre

NIZAMABAD: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya announced that Triveni Sangam at Kandakurthi will become a tourist destination with support from the Central government. He highlighted that the confluence of the Godavari River and its tributaries, Manjeera and Haridra, occurs at Kandakurthi village in Renjal mandal of Nizamabad district, bordering Telangana and Maharashtra.

On Sunday, Bandaru Dattatreya performed the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Sangam in Kandakurthi. He expressed that offering Ganga Aarti during the auspicious Kartika Maas is a great privilege for him. Additionally, the Governor visited the ongoing projects at the RSS founder Keshava Rao Baliram Hedgewar Spoorthi Kendra in Kandakurthi, where organisers briefed him on the centre’s developments.
Bodhan MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy, local elected representatives, and BJP leaders were also present. BJP leaders extended a warm welcome to Bandaru Dattatreya at Dichpally. In anticipation of the Governor’s visit, the police ensured stringent security arrangements.
