Delays in Declaring TGPSC 1:1 Results Leave Aspirants in Despair

Hyderabad:The ongoing delay in releasing TGPSC 1:1 results and posting orders has left many candidates in a state of frustration. Five such candidates approached the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) office on August 8 to seek clarity on the delay and the likely date on which the results would be declared. However, only two female members were permitted to meet the deputy secretary Anjaneyulu, who assured them that the results would be released by August 14.

"We were told with 100% certainty that the results would be out a day ahead of the Independence Day. Three days into the categorical assurances, we remain clueless about this issue," said Durga K, a candidate.

Meanwhile, many candidates said that this delay is not happening for the first time; they have been getting ‘avowed’ assurances right from June 16. All have proved to be empty promises.

In an attempt to expedite the process, the group also met Bhatti Vikramarka. Despite these efforts, the situation remains unresolved.

"Every time we call the office, we're told that the work is in progress, but nothing changes," another frustrated candidate told Deccan Chronicle.

The issue seems to be tied to the verification process for 616 posts, where 1,236 candidates were shortlisted. However, the candidates were informed that the delay was due to an insufficient number of candidates, despite the verification of 2,000 individuals. The group questions why such delays are occurring, especially when other recruitment processes, including DSC, are progressing without any hiccups.

"We’ve been waiting for eight months since the judgement was passed," shared another candidate Ravikiran D.

With no clear answers and the uncertainty remaining so, their trust in the system is eroding.
