Hyderabad: Working on a clue provided by a ‘zero’ ticket for free bus travel for women, the Dundigal police on Saturday arrested 40-year-old Busiboina Gangamma for allegedly murdering her acquaintance, Anjamma, 44, and stealing her gold. Both of them hailed from Nizamabad district.

On November 14, at about 8 pm, the police received a call about an unidentified woman lying unconscious inside a plot of land at Bahadurpally. When the police reached the spot, they found the woman dead. Following an investigation, the police found that Gangamani called Anjamma to the isolated place in Bahadurpally on the pretext of meeting her relatives. Once there, she killed Anjamma and stole her gold ornaments.

The case was detected with the help of CCTV footage and TGRTC zero bus tickets issued by the Bodhan Depot controller. Police said Gangamma had a criminal record and was named in three police cases in Banswada.
