East Marredpally Polytechnic College to Upgrade to Engineering Institution

Hyderabad:The Government Polytechnic College in East Marredpally is set to be upgraded to a full-fledged government engineering college. This follows complaints about the limited number of state-run engineering colleges within the city. The institution will get enhanced infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and an industry-aligned curriculum.

Cantonment MLA Sriganesh Narayanan, who visited the college to oversee the plans, stressed the need for world-class educational facilities in the heart of Hyderabad. He said he would ensure students in his Secunderabad Cantomnent constituency have access to quality education without the burden of long commutes or limited resources.
