Commercial taxes commissioner Sreedevi transferred

Hyderabad: Commercial taxes commissioner T.K. Sreedevi was transferred from the post in a minor reshuffle of IAS officers undertaken by the state government on Saturday. Her transfer assumes significance against the backdrop of the GST fraud amounting to nearly Rs 1,400 crore coming to light in the commercial taxes department on July 28, in which former chief secretary Somesh Kumar was booked by the police.

Sreedevi was transferred and posted as commissioner, Scheduled Caste development department, relieving N. Sridhar from full additional charge (FAC). Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, principal secretary, commercial taxes and excise, was placed in full additional charge in the place of Sreedevi.

Vikas Raj, special chief secretary, transport, housing and general administration (coordination with Central government and smart governance) was re-designated as special chief secretary of transport, roads & buildings department.

S. Harish was transferred and posted as joint secretary, revenue (disaster management) department.

P. Uday Kumar was placed in full additional charge in the post of director, marketing.

Chekka Priyanka, was posted as deputy secretary of municipal administration and urban development department.

K. Chandrashekar Reddy was posted as managing director, HACA Limited, Hyderabad.

Srinivas Reddy, joint commissioner, commercial taxes, Warangal, was transferred and posted as managing director, Markfed.
