Film personalities make beeline to Allu Arjun’s house to express solidarity

Hyderabad: Politicians and the film fraternity lined up at Allu Arjun’s residence to express their support after the ‘Pushpa-2’ actor was released from Chanchalguda prison early on Saturday.

He was received by his family members at his residence in Jubilee Hills, including wife Allu Sneha Reddy, son Ayaan, daughter Arha, father Allu Aravind and brother Sirish.

Later, Arjun and his father went to their Geeta Arts production office, where celebrities and politicians met him. Politicians from Andhra Pradesh, Avanthi Srinivasa Rao and Ganta Srinivasa Rao, were among those who met Arjun.

‘Pushpa-2’ director Sukumar, producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar met him and held discussions. Directors Koratala Shiva, Vamshi Paidipally, K. Raghavender Rao, Harish Shankar, B. V. S. Ravi and Krish Jagarlamudi expressed their support to the actor.

Other cine personalities who met Arjun included Meher Ramesh, Surrender Reddy, Vakkantham Vamsi, Vijay Devarakonda, Anand Devarakonda , Rana Daggubati, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil, Sudheer Babu, Venkatesh, Adivi Sesh, Srikanth, R. Narayana Murthy and Brahmaji.

Kannada actor Upendra, who was in Hyderabad for his upcoming movie’s promotion, met Arjun. Meanwhile, actress Sreeleela, speaking at a press meet, said “It's a very unfortunate situation. I'm glad he is back now. We all were tensed up. He respects the law and follows it diligently.”

Khairatabad Congress MLA Danam Nagender extended his support to Arjun as well. “Arjun is related to me. It is sad that this has happened. Arjun is bringing fame to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh even at the international level”, he said.

Several other celebrities reportedly contacted Arjun via calls and expressed their support.
