Final rites of Atmakur native working in the US performed in native village
Warangal: The body of Arukonda Rajesh (32) who died in America was brought to his native place Atmakur mandal in Hanamkonda district on Monday.
Congress Parkala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy, accompanied by Kakatiya Urban Development Authority’s Enagala Venkataram Reddy, visited Atmakur mandal and paid tributes to Rajesh and consoled his family members.
The news of the death was taken to the notice of the Chief Minister's Office. With the active involvement of the state and central governments, the body was brought to Atmakur where his family conducted Rajesh’s final rites.
Rajesh, who went to America in 2015 to pursue MS, died of a heart attack on August 13. Nine months back, Rajesh’s father Sambaiah had died following health complications.
