Six Persons Take Charge as Chairpersons

Hyderabad: At least six persons took charge of their office as the chairpersons of the state government-promoted corporations on Monday after the government announced the new chairpersons for 35 corporations.

Those who took charge of their office on Monday include TPCC Social Media Cell chairman Manne Sateesh Kumar. He assumed office as the chairman of Telangana State Technology Services Development.

After taking charge, Sateesh Kumar expressed his happiness for appointing him as the chairman. “I must express my gratitude for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and minister D. Sridhar Babu,” Sateesh Kumar said.

Similarly, M.A. Faheem took oath as the chairman of Telangana Foods at Nacharam.

Sunketa Anvesh Reddy, who heads the Telangana Kisan Congress, took charge as chairman of the Telangana State Seeds Development Corporation Limited.

Malreddy Ram Reddy took charge as the chairman of Telangana State Roads Development Corporation and Mettu Sai Kumar as the chairman of Fisheries Corporation.

Malreddy Ram Reddy expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and said he would work on improving the state’s road infrastructure.

Sai Kumar said, Efforts will be made to solve the problems of fishermen. I am thankful to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for trusting me and appointing me as the chairman."

Patel Ramesh Reddy took charge as the chairman of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Limited.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Patel Ramesh Reddy said that the last government has damaged all the tourist places in the name of development.

“We have a clear vision for the development. We will be seriously working on developing Telangana Tourism, and come up with new projects and ideas which will create more employment opportunities in the Telangana tourism," Ramesh Reddy said.

However, three persons, Nerella Sharada (TG Women Commission), Ch. Jagdishwar Rao (State Irrigation Development Corporation) and Kothaku Nagu (Telangana State ST Cooperative Finance Development Corporation), who were appointed as the chairpersons of three different corporations or commissions were dropped.

While Nerella Sharada’s appointment is pending with the Governor, Ch. Jagdishwar Rao requested the government for MLC position. Kothaku Nagu, who was appointed as the chairman of the Telangana State ST Cooperative Finance Development Corporation was replaced with Kotnaka Thirupathi.
