Free last rites vehicle available in Varanasi

NIZAMABAD: The Nizamabad-based Manchala Shankaraiah Gupta Charitable Trust provided Vaikunta Dhama Ratham to conduct last rites of people free of cost at Varanasi.

The specially-designed vehicle started from Nizamabad on Saturday and the services will be available in Harishchandra Ghat in Kashi free of cost.

MSGCT chairman and managing trustee Manchala Gnanender Gupta said Telugu people and others can utilise the vehicle for last rites in Varanasi.

"We have provided free last rites services for around 20,000 people in undivided Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Hyderabad city. With the cooperation of family members and well-wishers, we are extending the social services to the needy in society,'' he explained.
