GHMC panel okays land allotment to martyr’s wife

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Standing Committee on Thursday approved a proposal to allot 711 square yards at Banjara Hills road number 14 to Santoshi, the wife of Col Santosh Babu, who was killed in the clashes between Indian and Chinese security forces in 2020.

Apart from this, eight other proposals were also approved by the standing committee. They include the implementation of GIS-based survey and mapping of properties, road widening at Barkas, land acquisition of 35 properties for the construction of bridge at Chaderghat over the Musi river and the construction of a hospital for animals at Serilingampally.
