Govt. to celebrate birth anniversary of Ilamma and Konda Laxman Bapuji officially

Hyderabad: The State government has decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of Telangana’s valiant fighter Ilamma as government function on September 26 and birth anniversary of freedom fighter Konda Laxman Bapuji as State function on September 27.
Telangana Chief Secretary A Shanthi Kumari issued separate orders to this effect here, asking all the District Collectors to celebrate the birth anniversary of Ilamma and Konda Laxman Bapuji as government and State functions on September 26 and 27, respectively.
She said the BC welfare department should take necessary action in the matter duly meeting the expenditure from the budgetary provision of the department.
