HC Seeks Police Contention on Patnam Shruthi’s Plea

 Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the state police to submit their contention on the petition filed by Patnam Shruthi Reddy, wife of BRS former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, seeking a direction to stay all further proceedings in the FIR filed against her husband in Bomraspet police station on the ground that several FIRs cannot be filed for the same offence.

She complained that the police with an intent to harass her husband and keep him in prison, were booking several FIRs on the Lagcharla incident and its related issues.

The court directed the police to submit their contention by Monday.
