Hyderabad: A severe cloudburst around 4:45 AM on Tuesday morning unleashed a torrential downpour across Hyderabad, drenching large parts of the city and causing significant disruption. The heavy rain, which affected areas including Saroornagar, LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, Charminar, Rajendranagar, Abids, Nampally, Mehdipatnam, Nagole, Tellapur, Boduppal, Madhuranagar, Gachibowli, Chaitanyapuri, Ameerpet, Musheerabad, Shivarampally, and Uppal, continued to batter the city as residents woke up to the sound of thunder and pounding rain.
The unexpected deluge led to concerns over potential flooding and waterlogging in several neighborhoods, prompting netizens to share their experiences and issue warnings on social media. Although the intensity of the rain began to lessen around 6:00 AM, it continued to rain steadily, causing persistent challenges across the city. Authorities have urged citizens to exercise caution and stay safe as they assess the impact of the downpour.
