HMDA Identifies Stray Land Parcels
Hyderabad:The HMDA is identifying stray bits of land in Kokapet, Mokila, Bahadurpally, Bandlaguda, Thorrur and in Banjara Hills. It will prepare a list of such land parcels and submit it to the state government.
The stray bits in Kokapet are located in different layouts including Neopolis and in Mokila and Budvel. The leftover plots that were not sold in previous auctions will also be added to the list.
In 2023, at the Neopolis Layout (Kokapet), the highest bid was `100.75 crore for an acre, an all-time high in the state.
HMDA officials emphasised that identifying stray bits cannot be termed as an activity taken up ahead of auction of plots.
"The identification process is underway, once completed the list and worth of assets will be submitted to the government. It is also an exercise to assess the finances of the HMDA. Whether these plots will be auctioned by HMDA on behalf of the state government or not has not been decided yet . The government will take the decision," said a HMDA official.
