Hyderabad: 30kg Ganja Seized; 3 Held

 Hyderabad: The Medchal zone special operations team and the Shamirpet police on Sunday arrested three people while they were transporting 33 kg ganja from Rajamahendravaram to Hyderabad. The trio was arrested at the ORR toll gate at Shamirpet and seized the ganja. The three were identified as Gedela Satish, 34, Korada Sai Kumar, 26, and Bandaru Siva Kumar, 27. One more accused, Odisha native Shiva, said to be the mastermind, was absconding.

The trio had packed the contraband in 16 bundles, wrapped them with brown adhesive tape and concealed them among jackfruits.
