Hyderabad: Aramghar Flyover to Open in December
Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is to inaugurate the Aramghar flyover in the first week of December as part of the Prajapalana Vijayotsavalu. The second longest flyover at 4.04 km, it is bi-directional with six lanes.
The flyover connects Aramghar to Nehru Zoological Park and is expected to reduce traffic congestion at five Aramghar, Shastripuram, Kalapathar, Darul Uloom, Shivrampally, and Hassannagar.
On Tuesday, GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi inspected the flyover works along with HMDA commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad and HMWS&SB executive director Mayank Mittal. Ilambarithi instructed officials to complete the main flyover construction by November 30.
Regarding the service road, chief engineer Devanand said 17 properties needed to be acquired , and immediate acquisition of five properties would enable the commencement of work. Ilambarithi directed zonal town planning officials to take swift action to resolve issues.
