Hyderabad: The food safety task force teams conducted inspections at Hotel Rumaan and 4 Seasons multi-cuisine restaurant in Tolichowki area. Both food business operators had not displayed true copy of their FSSAI licenses at the premises. Food handlers at both restaurants were found without head gear, aprons and gloves.

Stored food articles inside the refrigerator were not covered or labeled properly. The kitchens were exposed to insects and flies in lack of insect-proof screens and close-fitted doors. Dustbins were found uncovered, the task force reported.

The pest control records and medical fitness certificates of food handlers were available at Rumaan; only the former shown at 4 Seasons.

At 4 Seasons, the inspectors seized misbranded items like sweet saunf, fry saunf and potli masala as these items did not mention the date of manufacturing or packing. There was water stagnation in the kitchen and loose plastering on walls.
