Hyderabad Metro Rail and Svida Launch Sustainability Programme for Metro Shuttle Services

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail in collaboration with Svida Mobility Pvt. Ltd has initiated a carbon neutral, environmentally sustainable rides programme for shuttle services. The services were launched by N.V.S. Reddy of the HMRL along with L&TMRHL MD K.V.B. Reddy at the Hitec City station on Monday.

Svida operates around 150 shuttle buses in 64 routes to and from 15 Metro stations, serving more than 16,000 passengers per day. It recently completed 50 lakh rides, said N.V.S. Reddy. It has tied up with TerraBlu Climate Technologies, a climate tech company.

The Metro officials also launched the booking of tickets through WhatsApp with Billeasy. K.V.B. Reddy stated that the WhatsApp booking facility will enable the Metro commuters to discover the routes and book their tickets for their travel on shuttles.
