Hyderabad: People Can’t Use 3rd Party Apps to Pay Power Bill

 Hyderabad: Are you one of those who pay your power bill on one of third-party mobile apps? Then take note. Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd (TSPDCL) has stopped accepting power bills through these apps from July 1, 2024 following instructions by the RBI.

The third-party apps mentioned by TSPDCL in its notice are PhonePe, Paytm, GPay, Amazon, Bill Desk – EBPP (through bank websites and their mobile apps).

The consumers can, however, use them at the payment stage after either logging into the TGSPDCL website www.tgsouthernpower.org or TGSPDCL mobile App to make payments, according to power utility officials.
